Benefits of Hiring a Reclaimation Coach

You're hiring a professional friend. Someone you meet with regularly who has spent their time in hard places and walked their path out. I don't know exactly where you are, but I've been in my own holes before and know a couple of ways out that may be helpful to you. Even if I’ve never been where you are before, I can totally walk alongside you - hearing you out and chearing you on.

Reclaimation coaching puts you in charge of how you choose to change your life. My training in what causes trauma (yes, even the quiet things) and my own experience with childhood emotional neglect both allow me to walk with you in a validating and affirming manner. Like any peer-to-peer relationship, I might offer some knowledge or ask a  hard question. What you choose to do with those things is up to you.

Coaches offer an outside perspective without having a dog in the fight. I'm not your mom, or your bestie. I'm an outside observer peaking in on the parts of your life you share with me. This means I haven't been looking at the situations you find yourself in for years and can see them with fresh eyes.

Think of it as a framing walk.

You've been looking at the bones of your life for a long time. Sometimes, a fresh set of eyes looks around and finds it way easier to spot what's right, what's missing, and what's out of place. Then a well placed question or observation can shift things internally just enough for those changes you've been trying to make for a while to start to happen.

My favorite part?

Coaching doesn't involve diagnosing or treatment plans. Since you're choosing the path and the pace, you can't be 'resistant to treatment.' So if you're stuck, or if you need more support than your therapist can provide, click on the START OUR CONVERSATION button below to set up a time for tea and introductions.

Until then, travel safely. ~ Kelli
